The first teat for newborns and gentle sucking
Support your baby's natural sucking motion from day one with a teat that faithfully mimics the breast with its wide shape, allowing for a perfectly smooth combination of breastfeeding and bottle feeding. This innovative model with a single hole and a slow flow is designed specifically for newborns, premature babies, and all infants who suck very gently. Its unique design releases milk only when the baby is actively drinking, preventing unwanted dripping and spills. The integrated anti-colic valve also effectively prevents air from being swallowed, significantly reducing the risk of a sore tummy, so your little one can feed in complete peace and at their own pace. This practical pack contains two teats.
“First flow” teat for gentle-sucking babies
Natural latch-on thanks to the breast-shaped teat
Anti-colic valve
Ideal for babies who drink gently
Give your newborn the gentlest start with a teat specially designed for the needs of the littlest babies and those with a very gentle sucking style. Thanks to its unique shape that faithfully mimics the mother's breast, it lets your baby latch on naturally and feed at their own rhythm.
Natural sucking rhythm for calm feeding and breathing
The single-hole teat provides an ideal flow for the youngest and most gentle-sucking babies, allowing them to breathe calmly and drink at their own natural rhythm during feeding. This model is designed to make combining breastfeeding with bottle feeding as smooth as possible. The versatility of the Philips Avent system gives you the confidence that as your baby's needs grow, you can simply swap the teat for a different type and continue using their favourite bottle.
Soft, textured teat for your baby’s comfort
The unique texture and ideal softness of this teat faithfully mimic the natural feel of breastfeeding, enabling your baby to latch on smoothly and feed at their own, uninterrupted pace. The innovative combination of a flexible spiral design and comfort petals also ensures the natural movement of the tongue and gums, so your little one can feed completely intuitively and in maximum comfort, which gives them a sense of security and safety.
Anti-colic valve for a happy tummy
The integrated anti-colic valve in the teat provides effective protection for your baby's sensitive tummy by reliably venting air away from the baby and preventing them from swallowing it during feeding. This clever solution significantly reduces the risk of unpleasant bloating and painful colic, ensuring your baby enjoys a calm feed and a peaceful rest afterwards without unnecessary crying and fussiness.
