Lavazza Dek decaffeinated coffee is produced by extracting the coffee out of green 100% Arabica coffee beans in a high-pressure water bath, then drying and roasting them. This process ensures that the coffee never contains more than 1% caffeine and allows it to retain its full, delicate and subtle flavour.

The beans are suitable for preparing all types of coffee and are finely ground and vacuum-packed to preserve their unique flavour and aroma. Lavazza Dek is made of 100% Arabica beans which are grown in Asia and processed in a traditional Italian roastery in Turin. In 1895, this small roastery was founded by Luigi Lavazza and you can still find it at the same address today. Over the course of a hundred years, the Lavazza brand has become one of the world's largest coffee producers and is a sure sign of excellent quality.
