This SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM) memory has 1G x 72-bit (8GB) internal organization. The memory module is equipped with four-bit FBGA components and is manufactured by the standard CMOS process technology with no additional steps. The SDRAMs circuits are always one or two generations ahead in technology. The memory can be easily configured and reconfigured even when the system is running.

The DIMM has 288 gold-plated contacts. The memory module uses ECC and can detect and correct the most common types of internal data corruption. Therefore, ECC memories are used in computers employed in fields where no errors can be tolerated, such as science and finance.
