The V1 Max is a fully customisable mechanical keyboard offering both 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. Its compact 75% layout, gasket mount design, sound-absorbing foam, double-shot PBT keycaps and other features take the typing experience to a new level, delivering enhanced comfort and productivity. To create a fully customisable keyboard, Keychron has designed every component to be easily assembled, so you can customise any part to your exact preferences. Experience ultimate gaming performance with 2.4GHz wireless connectivity and a 1000Hz polling rate. For easy multitasking, you can connect the keyboard to up to three devices via Bluetooth 5.1 (computer, phone, tablet). A powerful ARM architecture microcontroller with 256K Flash provides greater flexibility for developers. The 1000Hz polling rate is available straight out of the box, which means almost imperceptible delay, even in competitive games.

OSA profile – double-shot PBT keycaps and gasket mount design
The double-shot PBT keycaps have a similar height to the OEM profile and a shape similar to the SA profile. We call them OSA (OEM spherical angled). The PBT material provides high resistance to grease, a better typing feel and prevents the legends from wearing off. Thanks to the gasket mount design and polycarbonate plate, resonance is reduced, giving you a softer, quieter and more flexible typing experience.
Hot-swap (no-solder switch replacement), RGB backlighting and Gateron Jupiter switches
The sockets are located on the PCB, so you can change switches without soldering. It supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX switches. The south-facing RGB backlighting provides better illumination of the keycaps from your perspective and avoids interference with other keycap profiles. The exclusive Gateron Jupiter mechanical switches, with a lifespan of up to 80 million keystrokes, are pre-lubed and feature a special diffuser for an enhanced RGB effect. The Banana variant offers early tactile feedback with an ultra-smooth action. The screw-in PCB stabilisers ensure a more stable and smoother press for large keys (spacebar, shift, enter, delete).
Switch between macOS and Windows and programme with QMK and Launcher
The keyboard is designed with Mac users in mind, but is also fully compatible with Windows. It includes a system switch and a set of keycaps for both systems. You can save two different layouts – one for each system. The open-source QMK firmware offers unlimited possibilities for remapping keys, macros and shortcuts. With the Keychron Launcher web app, you can easily customise every key.
Access from anywhere, secure input and compatibility
The Keychron Launcher works as a web-based configurator – you can use it anywhere with an internet connection without needing to install anything. The Launcher is continuously updated; there is no need to download or install anything. The QMK firmware is open-source, so the community can check the code. It contains no hidden functions and you have full control over the security of your input. It works on Windows, macOS, Linux and other systems. It supports Chrome, Edge and Opera browsers.
