The Keychron Q1 HE is a wireless keyboard with a 75% layout and a fully customisable QMK interface, equipped with Gateron double-rail magnetic switches and advanced TMR sensors. The magnetic switches and sensors offer faster response times and dynamic rapid triggering. In addition to the magnetic switches, the Q1 HE also features a 2.4GHz connection mode with an impressive 1000Hz polling rate. For seamless multitasking between your computer, phone, and tablet, you can easily connect the Q1 HE via Bluetooth 5.2 to up to three devices. The keyboard features a powerful MCU chip with 256KB of Flash memory and open-source QMK firmware. The keyboard also boasts features like Bluetooth connectivity, a double-gasket design, a full 6063 aluminium body, PBT keycaps, and more. The components are designed for easy assembly. This lets you customise and adjust every part to your liking.

Adjustable actuation depth and Rapid Trigger

You can customise each key with ultra-precise 0.1mm sensitivity and adjustable actuation points from 0.2 to 3.8mm. Setting the actuation depth to 0.8mm or 1.0mm shortens the travel distance and increases sensitivity. The key returns to its home position as soon as it is released, ensuring a faster response. With the dynamic Rapid Trigger function, activate or deactivate keys based on their travel distance instead of fixed points. The keys are activated the moment they are pressed and deactivated upon release, allowing for instant repeated presses in a fluid motion. This lets you perform a series of actions in rapid succession while gaming.

PBT keycaps and hot-swap

PBT keycaps are oil-resistant, improve the typing feel, and prevent the legends from fading. Unlike mechanical switches that work by physical contact, magnetic switches use magnets to detect a key press. Swapping a switch for a compatible magnetic one is easy. You can assign four actions to a single key depending on the pressing force. For example, a light press on a key moves you forward in a game, and a harder press makes you run. Additionally, even releasing the key supports two-stage settings. This enables smoother, more customised combinations that can give you an edge in competitive gaming.

Programme with QMK and Launcher

The open-source QMK firmware offers endless possibilities for remapping keys, macros, shortcuts, and much more. The Keychron Launcher web app makes it easy to remap keys, adjust actuation force, set up magnetic switches, and create custom macros, shortcuts, and key combinations for each key.

Pads and stabilisers

Silicone pads between the top and bottom covers dampen acoustic resonance, maintain the flexibility of the gasket seal, and improve the typing sound. The bottom of the keyboard is equipped with an acoustic pad that improves sound quality, but slightly reduces flexibility. Users who prefer more flexibility can remove this acoustic pad. The screw-in design increases stability and makes changes and upgrades easier. Precision machining ensures stabiliser stability and less wobble. Typing on large keys (spacebar, shift, enter, delete) is now more stable and smoother. 

Suitable for all devices

Designed with Mac users' experience in mind while maintaining compatibility with Windows devices, the Q1 HE comes with a system switch and an extra set of custom keycaps for both Windows and macOS. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.

RGB LEDs

The RGB LEDs are designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the user's point of view when using the premium non-shine-through PBT keycaps. The RGB LEDs show no interference if the user installs alternative Cherry-profile keycaps on the keyboard.
