Kenko 1.4 x MC5 PRO 300 DGX Canon AF
You can use the converter with the existing main lens, at it will multiply its focal length. The converter just fits in between the body of the camera and the lens. As this is another optical element in the path of the scanning chip, you will appreciate that its top-of-the-line design allows the light to pass through virtually unchanged. The original properties of the lens are affected only minimally. The PRO 300 Series Converter is designed for telephoto lenses from 100mm focal length.
Key Properties
- Multiplies the focal length of the lens
- Perfect image transfer (high quality optical components from the Hoya Corporation)
- Maintains the minimum focusing distance of the lens
- Accurate recording of exif data
A Modern Camera Converter
The DGX name represents a sophisticated circuit to more accurately capture exif data (photo recording information). With the exif date, you will find the equivalent aperture recorded and the focal length of the lens plus the teleconverter. The converter includes a dedicated Gate Array IC integrated circuit for seamless transmission of all data and information for proper AF operation and exposure metering.
