KELA Iron frying pan FERRUM 24 cm
KELA Iron frying pan FERRUM 24 cm
The Kela Ferrum iron pan, with a diameter of 24cm, is made from pure cold-forged iron. Iron allows you to reach extreme temperatures that instantly seal the pores of the meat. You can use a metal spatula, knife, or even a wire scourer on the iron. The pan cannot be scratched in a way that would stop it from working. The Kela Ferrum does not have an artificial non-stick surface, but rather the natural ability to create its own protective layer, which improves with every use. The sturdy riveted handle ensures safe handling, even when working with high heat. The pan is suitable for all types of hobs – from conventional gas and induction to an open fire on a garden grill.
Key features of the Kela Ferrum 24cm iron pan
- Heat resistant up to 260°C – ideal for searing and flambéing
- The perfect tool for preparing ingredients that require searing at high temperatures
- Suitable for all heat sources – induction, gas, electric, oven, and grill
- Long, sturdy, riveted handle with a loop for hanging
- Hygienic and safe – pure metal free from PFOA, PTFE, or other synthetic substances
- Long lifespan with proper maintenance
Naturally non-stick surface
Before its first use, the Kela Ferrum iron pan needs to be 'seasoned'. Seasoning creates a natural non-stick layer (patina). Over time, a black film forms on the surface, preventing anything from sticking to the pan, even without the use of chemical coatings. An iron pan requires specific care – hand washing without detergent and coating with oil.
