This product is recommended as a suitable source of calcium. A deficiency leads to calcium being taken from the bones, first from the jawbones and then from the ribs, vertebrae, and lower limbs. In cases of calcium deficiency, it is necessary to supplement with about 800 to 1,000mg of Ca daily. In addition, it is essential to increase your intake of vitamin D, C, and folic acid. Great attention should also be paid to the simultaneous intake of magnesium. A sufficient supply of magnesium and calcium also helps to reduce high blood pressure and blood cholesterol levels. An increased intake of both elements is essential in old age, when their absorbability decreases.
Ingredients
Calcium Carbonate (500mg), Lactose, Starch, Talc, Magnesium Stearate, Gelatin.
Recommended Dosage
1 tablet 1 to 3× a day before meals.
