Grow the most fruitful orchard in the solitaire game Liget
The board game Liget transports players into their own miniature fruit garden. The main task is to plant trees, care for them and strategically connect the same types of fruit to achieve the largest possible harvest. By correctly placing cards on top of each other, you expand your orchard and earn points that determine your success at the end of the game. While planning, you must watch out for the hungry squirrel who is trying to steal your fruit. This card game is designed for one player aged 14 and over, and one game takes 15 minutes.

Building an orchard and collecting points
In the role of a gardener, you take care of developing your own orchard. The goal is to achieve the highest possible score by successfully harvesting ripe fruit. During the game, you create the most fertile areas of trees of the same type. Each correct overlap increases the total value of the harvest, which you then record. Your final score will show how effectively you can plan your garden.
Card overlapping mechanism and pests
The basic principle of a turn is to place new cards on top of those already placed. You must ensure that the same types of fruit overlap to form coherent groups. The harvest on the trees is marked by coloured cubes, which show the current point status. However, a squirrel figurine, which moves around the garden, also interferes with cultivation. This mechanic requires constant adaptation of your strategy and protection of the grown fruit.
Diverse game variants and recipes
Extended gameplay options complement the basic solitaire mode with additional gameplay options that expand on the basic rules. The Hungarian edition includes 15× recipe cards that bring specific goals for each game. Players can also try a variant for more participants if they own multiple copies of the Liget game. These additions change the scoring style and bring new challenges to orchard planning.
