Creative Techniques with JAVANA Dye
This powder dye opens the door to many creative textile projects. You can use it to revive the original colours of older clothes or experiment with different methods. It is suitable for techniques such as shibori, wax batik or dip-dyeing. Thanks to the practical bottle, the powder can be easily dosed, mixed with other shades, and any unused amount can be safely stored for future use. The formula already contains fixing salt, so you do not need to add any other ingredients.
Low-Temperature Dyeing
One of the main advantages of Kreul JAVANA dye is the ability to dye at temperatures as low as 50°C. This feature makes it ideal for wax batik and tie-dye techniques, where higher temperatures could damage the wax or disrupt the ties on the fabric. The lower temperature is gentler on delicate fabrics such as silk or wool. Of course, you can also dye at higher temperatures up to 95°C if the material and the desired technique require it. The flexible temperature range gives you full control over the creative process.
Achieving the Desired Shade and Aftercare
The intensity of the shade depends on the amount of fabric you are dyeing. If you use the entire 70g packet on 200g of dry fabric, you will get a rich and bold result. For a medium-intensity shade, the same amount of dye is sufficient for 400g of fabric. After dyeing and fixing, it is important to care for the textiles properly. It is recommended to wash them separately from other laundry, at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Dyed textiles are not boil-proof, so avoid washing at the highest temperatures.
