Intel Core i7-8700K tray

Intel launches the 8th generation Intel Core processors this time with the code labeled Coffee Lake . Basically, it is a very similar architecture to the previous successful Kaby Lake series. However, Intel has worked on various optimizations, resulting in an Intel Core i7-8700K processor that delivers real-world performance while maintaining minimal energy performance.

Key features of the Intel Core i7-8700K processor

• Six-core processor i7 with Coffee Lake architecture
• HyperThreading multithreaded technology support
• The highest clocked processor in Intel's history - up to 4.7GHz
• Performance increases in the order of tens of percent to the Kaby Lake range
• Compatible exclusively with Intel's new Z370 chipset generation
• Unlocked version ideal for overclocking
• Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 graphics card
• Version TRAY - Supplied in plastic housing without cooler

The best CPU game today

The Coffee Lake architecture is once again based on a 14nm production process. At first, demanding manufacturing is being handled by Intel with utterly stunning perfection, offering the Intel Core i7-8700K processor a superb price / performance ratio. For the first time ever, the core i7 came in six of the powerful kernels . Coaster gain is also accompanied by a higher working frequency, which moves up to the 4.7GHz limit in turbo mode.

Intel Core i7 with unlocked multiplier

Thanks to the unlocked multiplier, this processor is suitable for games with further overclocking . All you have to do is install a high-quality cooler, have enough memory and good luck on the right piece of silicon.

Access to data is greatly facilitated by a fast 12 MB L3 cache that gives kernels enough time to instantly respond to all applications . The Intel Core i7-8700K processor is guaranteed to serve as a reliable building block for playgroups. However, performance is literally on hand, so you can even plunge into virtual reality or into demanding video encoding.
