Icy Box turns your internal hard drive external and acts as a reduction of SATA I, II, III interface to USB 3.0. You can enjoy data transfer rates up to 5 Gb/s, thanks to the USB connection on universal use. To create a SATA interface, just connect the HDD/SSD 2.5", 3.5" or 5.25" drives. If you connect a 2.5" SSD/HDD, there is no need for a separate power supply, the USB cable is enough. To connect the other discs or other formats, such as DVD / Blu-ray drives, you may be required to connect a power adapter, which is included in the package. An LED status screen informs you about the operation of the device.
