The wireless weather sensor Homematic IP Pro (HmIP-SWO-PR) for outdoor use is part of the Homematic IP smart home system. You not only get a perfect overview of the current meteorological values such as temperature, humidity and wind speed. Compared to the Basic and Plus models, the extended Pro version also offers prediction of the amount and duration of rainfall (0 to 966 mm) and wind direction (0 to 355°) including its variation (0 to ±146.25°). Wireless communication and battery operation offer the possibility of variable sensor installation almost anywhere in the outdoor environment, with a range to the central unit of up to 400 meters. Homematic IP can link weather data with other connected devices.

Through the Google Home app, you'll be able to control smart bulbs, thermostats, cameras or speakers, all from one place, by touch or voice. Set up everything you need by following the on-screen instructions in the app installed on your smartphone. Google Home supports thousands of devices from different manufacturers.
Compatible with the manufacturer's app

Homematic IP connects your smart home
Thanks to the sensor, you can get accurate data on temperature, humidity, wind speed and sunshine. All the information and measured values are then available directly on your mobile phone thanks to the Homematic IP app, which is available for download for both Android and iOS. With the app, you can also connect other smart home elements, such as blinds controllers that can pull down the blinds in case of rain or strong winds. You can also easily integrate your device into the Google Home platform or use Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants. However, the Homematic IP Pro weather sensor does not work independently, it needs a central Homematic IP unit to operate.
Easy installation wherever you need it
You can place the Homematic IP Pro weather sensor on a roof, column or wall anywhere outdoors, up to 400 metres from the central unit. Included in the package is a complete installation kit and a 1.58 m long stainless steel post with a diameter of 25 mm in three parts. Therefore, you can handle the installation yourself without the intervention of a professional. Wireless power supply using 3 AA replaceable batteries allows low maintenance operation for up to 2 years. When the batteries are almost dead, you will get an alert in the Homematic IP app.
