Innovative window and door handle position detection technology
The HmIP-SRH window handle sensor checks the status of the door/window, whether it is open, closed or open for ventilation, by means of the position of the handle. This way you will always be informed, which doors/windows remain open, unopened, tipped or closed, even if.., that you are away from your home. Once installed, the sensor detects the appropriate handle position for both left and right opening directions. Also included is a second front cover in silver to match the look of the window or door frame.

Protection in case of sabotage
If an intruder gets to the sensor, the tamper contact reliably detects the tampering and triggers an alarm. Inter-device communication ensures that the alarm is triggered even without an internet connection. If your smart home security solution includes a Homematic IP siren (outdoor or indoor), the siren will remain in alarm mode in the event of sabotage or destruction of the HmIP-HAP Central Unit.
