The Yale 5140/22 fire mortice lock is designed for installation in fire doors. Security is provided by a double-throw deadbolt, which is compatible with standard cylinder locks. A gear mechanism allows the latch to be operated with a key. Thanks to its reversible latch, the lock is suitable for both left and right-handed doors. The white zinc finish protects against corrosion. The lock has a pitch of 90mm and a backset of 50.5mm.
