Construction and wiring
The stainless steel and zinc alloy construction resists mechanical damage and wear. The device has a holding force of 1200kg, which increases the level of mechanical entry security. The system uses two-wire wiring with red and black wires for power and control. The red wire is for 12V/NC and the black for 12V/COM, which simplifies installation into the door frame.
Door status monitoring
The integrated dry contact provides instant detection of whether the door leaf is open or closed. The contact logic works on the principle of short-circuiting when the door is closed and opening the circuit when the door is open. The built-in sensor can handle a load of up to 30V DC at 0.1A. Status monitoring is carried out via contacts labelled DPS/+ and DPS/-, which provide instant feedback.
Compatibility with UniFi Access
The lock is designed for direct connection to UniFi Access Hub control units. Compatible models include UA-Hub-Door, EAH-8, UA-Hub-Door-Mini, UA-Ultra, and UA-Hub-Gate. The device operates in a temperature range of -10 to +60°C. The operating ambient humidity ranges from 5–90% non-condensing, making it suitable for standard installations.
Installation and dimensions
The package includes short and long stainless steel faceplates to customise the installation. The physical dimensions of the body itself are 80×40×35mm. The design, with an increased tolerance of 15mm, is also suitable for installations with more solid doors. This tolerance provides greater clearance for reliably securing the latch on both wooden and metal doors.
