MARIMEX Sand filtration ProStar 3

The MARIMEX ProStar 3 sand filtration system is inspired by nature - here, too, rainwater is transformed into crystal-clear spring water by filtration in permeable rock layers. In sand filtration, the water passes through silica sand, where even fine impurities are trapped and only clean, filtered water is returned to the pool. It is therefore important to rinse the filter sand frequently to prevent dirt from settling in the sand. We recommend flushing the filtration system at least once a week.

Composition and description of sand filtration

The ProStar 3 sand filtration system consists of a filter container that can hold 10 to 12 kg of filter sand. The container is made of high quality polypropylene (PP). It is seamless, resists corrosion and commonly available chemicals used in swimming pools. The filtration flow rate is 4 m³/hr. From our experience, we know that it can be connected to solar heaters, solinators and UV lamps. The filtration has sufficient power to operate with this accessory.
The filtration is equipped with a drainage valve, pressure gauge, built-in components of the filter vessel including an easy-to-use 6-way valve (which is built into the lid of the filter vessel), 200 W pump motor, plastic base for mounting at the installation site. The system is manufactured from high quality materials in strict compliance with technical standards and undergoes output control.

Warning:
Sand filtration is supplied without filter sand and hoses as standard. If you do not have these products, it is recommended to buy them together with the sand filtration. The ProStar 3 can also be used for salt water and can be connected to a solinator.
