It also features a stepped pulley, which you can use to easily adjust the speed in 5 steps (600–2500rpm) to match the difficulty of the task. The GTB 16/550 drill has a sturdy spindle with a 50mm stroke and a Morse taper 2 (MK2) mount, housed in precision ball bearings, ensuring stable operation even under heavy loads. A geared chuck (B16) with a 3–16mm range provides secure clamping for drill bits. You'll also appreciate the clever mechanism with a side wing screw, which makes changing and tensioning the V-belt a breeze.
