The Extol Premium 48100 geared tin snips are designed for cutting sheet metal with less effort. An integrated gear mechanism significantly reduces the force needed to make a cut. The chrome-molybdenum-vanadium steel blades are induction hardened to a hardness of HRC 56–62. The snips can handle straight cuts in standard steel up to 1.2mm thick and in stainless steel up to 0.8mm.

Durable blades and an efficient mechanism
The foundation of the Extol Premium snips is their chrome-molybdenum-vanadium steel blades. They have an induction hardened cutting edge with a hardness of HRC 56–62. The lower jaw is also serrated, which prevents the sheet metal from unwanted shifting during cutting. A gear mechanism makes work easier by multiplying the force applied and reducing hand fatigue. The ergonomically shaped handle with an automatic opening function contributes to comfortable use.
