Substrate preparation:
Make sure the substrate is clean, firm, load-bearing, level and dry. Remove any dirt, dust, grease or other substances that could reduce the adhesion of the adhesive. Smooth out any unevenness or depressions with a suitable material. For gypsum or anhydrite substrates, mechanical roughening and dust removal are necessary.
Adhesive application:
The glue is ready to use and does not require mixing. Apply it to the substrate using a trowel with the appropriate tooth size, depending on the size of the tiles. The adhesive coverage on the back of the tile should be at least 65% for indoor applications and at least 90% for outdoor applications. When installing large format tiles (larger than 0.2 m²), we recommend applying a thin layer of adhesive to the back of the tile to ensure full contact and eliminate voids under the tile.
Acceleration of curing:
The adhesive cures by reacting with moisture from the air. To speed up this process, the applied adhesive layer can be lightly sprayed with a fine mist of water using a spray bottle. Make sure that puddles do not form; the surface should only be slightly dampened.
Cleaning of tools and surfaces:
Tools and tile surfaces cannot be cleaned with water. Remove fresh adhesive residue with a dry cloth. If the glue has already started to set, the residue can be removed with alcohol, oil or paint thinner. After curing, the adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
