BOSCH Drill Bit SDS plus-5X - 8x250x310

The Bosch SDS plus-5X drill bit is designed for efficient drilling in hard materials, including masonry, stone, concrete, and reinforced concrete. Its 4-cutter head geometry prevents it from getting stuck or breaking. The active centring tip ensures precise drilling from the very beginning by guiding the drill bit. The large, short channels in the 4-flute design provide fast removal of drilling dust, which reduces wear and extends the tool's lifespan.

Head geometry for drilling in reinforced concrete

The drill bit can even handle reinforced concrete thanks to its four-cutter head geometry. This design prevents the drill bit from getting stuck or breaking when it hits rebar. Its efficiency is also boosted by the 4-flute design, which combines large and short channels. These channels ensure fast removal of drilling dust from the hole, reducing friction and overall tool wear. The active centring tip provides precise hole starting without wandering, guiding the drill bit and keeping it on the right track.
