The 3M Dual-Lock™ SJ354B self-adhesive fastener in black is a reclosable fastening system that can be used repeatedly. Its reclosable nature is ensured by a system of mushroom-shaped stems which, when pressed together, interlock to create a strong, yet easily separable, connection. The system uses a rubber-based contact adhesive. The fastener is ideal for applications such as attaching panels and cover plates, interior signage, decorative elements, office partitions, graphic and access panels, vehicle interiors, adjustable L-shaped shelves, or hanging signs. The fastener can be used on a wide range of plastics—acrylic, polycarbonate, and ABS, on powder-coated surfaces, and on low surface energy materials like polypropylene and polyethylene. It also finds use in general industrial bonding, point-of-sale displays, exhibitions, electronics, construction, furniture making, and maintenance and repair. The Dual Lock™ reclosable fastening system is resistant to temperatures up to 49°C and is intended for indoor use only.

The 3M Dual-Lock™ SJ354B self-adhesive fastener uses Dual-Lock™ technology, which is an excellent alternative to standard fastening methods such as screws, rivets, latches, adhesives, and others. It provides a universal fastening solution for all applications requiring high flexibility and an invisible fix. The system consists of a polyolefin backing layer equipped with 40 mushroom-shaped heads per cm². Pressing the two Dual Lock parts together creates a stable, strong, and reclosable connection. The self-adhesive fastener is suitable for smooth and slightly textured surfaces and provides resistance to moisture and chemical influences, making it ideal for long-term use.
