Its foil backing creates a surface with excellent heat and light reflectivity, while the rubber adhesive allows it to stick to a wide variety of surfaces. The 3M tape has excellent sealing and repair properties due to its low water vapour permeability. You can use the 3M 1436 adhesive tape on pipe systems, for sealing air conditioning systems, or as a moisture barrier.
