Keep your phone close at hand
The phone no longer requires a base station, as it connects wirelessly directly to the DECT base of your internet router. All you need is a power socket for the charging cradle, giving you maximum flexibility within your home and ensuring your phone is always close by. If you would like to equip your landline system with additional handsets, it can also be connected to a telephone base station. The large, high-contrast colour TFT display (44 × 35 mm) offers graphics and fonts that ensure optimal readability, various colour schemes, and symbols for navigating the main menu. The "Jumbo" mode, which provides an extra-large display of digits when dialling, the backlit keypad, and large individual buttons with a noticeable press point ensure that everything is visible at a glance.
Simply activate call protection
The newly developed comfort call protection shields you from advertising calls or dangerous telephone scams. You can easily block up to 100 unwanted phone numbers by entering them into a blacklist or transferring them directly from the call history log. You can also block or mute anonymous callers. And with time control, you can specify time periods when the phone should or should not ring. You can give priority callers preferential treatment by entering them into the VIP address book, so you can talk to them at any time.
Large address book and easy contact management
The phone's large address book can hold up to 200 contacts, with space for a surname, first name, and three phone numbers for each entry. The entries can also be easily shared between Gigaset handsets, making contact management simpler and more convenient. The programmable speed dial keys are also practical, allowing you to connect with your favourite callers more quickly and without tedious typing. Thanks to the automatic birthday reminder, you'll never miss their special day again. You can also assign custom VIP ringtones to your most important people, so you can hear who's calling straight away.
Personalisation options
The phone can be easily adapted to your individual preferences thanks to its personalisation options. You can choose between different display backgrounds - either the preset dark background, which matches the modern design of the cordless phone, or a high-contrast white background. For the screen saver, you can choose an analogue or digital clock. You can also customise the phone's sound - select the right frequency range from two acoustic profiles for an optimal listening experience.

The phone is suitable for all age groups. Thanks to its large display and hearing aid compatibility, many older people will appreciate the phone. The direct call function means that all buttons activate the dialling of a pre-assigned number. This is ideal for small children who can't read yet, as they will always call the right number – no matter which button they press. The baby monitor function automatically establishes a connection to other handsets in the household, or even to Mum or Dad's smartphone, when a noise threshold is exceeded. In baby monitor mode, the phone remains silent - incoming calls are only indicated visually on the display.
The ideal solution for the home office and family, with ECO DECT technology
HX-type handsets make you location-independent and can be assigned phone numbers, provided the base station can manage multiple numbers. This is the case with Gigaset IP phones and usually with VoIP routers. This means your personal family life remains undisturbed, while work calls can be handled professionally. The phone is equipped with ECO DECT technology. It is radiation-free in standby mode, even when you are using multiple handsets. During a call, the transmission power automatically adjusts to the distance between the handset and the base. This means that the shorter the distance between the base and the handset, the lower the radiation. If you want to use the maximum DECT range, you can also deactivate ECO DECT mode at any time.
