Processor power supply
The power cascade uses a digital twin 16+2+2 phase design for a stable power supply to the processor. The design with a parallel 8+8 phase system handles high loads even during demanding computational tasks. The printed circuit board consists of six layers with double the amount of copper, which effectively reduces the temperature around these circuits. Solid pins in the connectors increase the reliability of the electrical current transfer and extend the life of the entire platform. The board thus handles the power demands of multi-core processors without any issues.
DDR5 RAM
Four slots accommodate up to 256GB of DDR5 RAM with dual-channel support. The board supports AMD EXPO profiles for easy overclocking of memory modules. Shielded routing of conductors within the printed circuit board protects the signal from external interference from surrounding components. The Daisy-Chain topology optimises data transfer between memory and the processor for low latency. Users can create and save their own SPD profiles in the BIOS for different usage scenarios.
Connectivity
The rear panel features a pair of USB4 Type-C ports with transfer speeds of up to 40Gb/s per port. These connectors support DisplayPort video output and make it easy to connect high-resolution monitors. Fast USB 3.2 Gen 2 and standard USB 2.0 ports are also available for connecting peripherals. Internal connectors offer the option of routing a high-speed 20Gb/s USB-C interface to the front panel of the computer case. Four SATA III connectors are provided for connecting hard drives.
Cooling
The VRM Thermal Armor Advanced cooling system uses all-metal heatsinks with a large surface area to efficiently dissipate heat from the power circuits. The multi-channel design with grooves improves airflow inside the computer case. SSDs in the M.2 slots are protected by passive M.2 Thermal Guard heatsinks against overheating and subsequent performance degradation. Smart Fan 6 technology provides precise control over the speed of fans and water cooling pumps based on temperature sensors. Under low load, the system can stop the fans completely for silent operation.
Wi-Fi 7 wireless interface
Wireless communication is handled by an integrated module with support for the Wi-Fi 7 standard and wide channels up to 160MHz. Multi-Link Operation technology connects the system simultaneously in multiple frequency bands for stable, dropout-free data transmission. For a wired network connection, an integrated Realtek Ethernet port with a throughput of up to 5Gb/s is available. The integrated Bluetooth 5.4 interface easily connects all wireless accessories to the computer. A high-gain directional antenna helps maintain a strong signal even over longer distances.
Easy assembly
The board includes features for easy, tool-free PC building. The EZ-Latch Plus system speeds up the release of the card from the PCIe slot and simplifies the installation of M.2 SSDs. The EZ-Latch Click mechanism securely fastens M.2 heatsinks with a simple click. A special WIFI EZ-Plug connector simplifies the connection of the external antenna without screwing it to the rear panel. On the back, there is a multi-function button for a quick reset, clearing CMOS, or updating the BIOS.
