The GIGABYTE B860M E motherboard provides a reliable foundation for personal computers powered by Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors. Fast DDR5 RAM
The board features two slots for DDR5 memory modules with dual-channel support. The total capacity of the system memory can reach up to 128GB when using 64GB modules. D5 Bionic Corsa technology helps optimise memory performance, while overclocking mode lets you reach frequencies of up to 8800MHz.
PCIe interfaces and graphics outputs
For graphics card installation, the board provides one reinforced PCI Express 4.0 x16 slot, complemented by one PCIe 3.0 x1 slot for expansion cards. The PCIe EZ-Latch mechanism makes it easy to release and remove the graphics card from the slot without risking damage to the latch. The integrated graphics in the processor can be connected to monitors via a digital HDMI 2.1 interface supporting 4096×2160 resolution at 60Hz or a DisplayPort 2.1 interface with up to 3840×2160 resolution at 144Hz.
Stable power supply
A hybrid 4+1+2 phase power delivery system ensures stable power distribution to the processor. The board features one 24-pin ATX main power connector and one 8-pin ATX 12V connector for stable voltage. Cooling components with massive metal heatsinks help maintain optimal operating temperatures for the VRM, even under heavy, long-term system loads.
Modern M.2 NVMe storage, network connection, and audio codec
Two M.2 Socket 3 connectors with a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface for 2280 format SSDs deliver fast data transfers for the operating system and applications. Connect traditional hard drives and SATA SSDs using four SATA III ports with a transfer speed of 6Gb/s. Configure drive arrays in RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, and RAID 10 modes to protect your stored data from potential drive failure. A Realtek GbE LAN controller with a maximum speed of 1Gb/s and a bandwidth management tool handles the wired network connection, helping to reduce network latency. The integrated sound card uses an 8-channel Realtek audio chip with high-quality capacitors and Audio Noise Guard technology for clean audio output when listening to music or watching movies.
