The NEOGEO AES+ Black gaming console is used to run classic video games from game cartridges on modern and older screens. This gaming system was created in collaboration with SNK and PLAION REPLAI to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the platform. It offers a hardware reimplementation of the original Japanese device from the nineties, preserving the original design. The developers used redesigned custom integrated circuits that precisely replicate the behaviour of the original hardware without the need for software emulation. This gives players an authentic control response and a faithful visual output.
