Modes of use
The controller works in two different configurations to suit your needs. In handheld mode, both halves attach directly to the sides of the Nintendo Switch console. When slotted into the central attachment, it becomes a standard wired controller for playing on your TV screen. In this state, connecting to the console requires a 3m cable.
Controller elements and ergonomics
The shape of the individual parts corresponds to standard game controllers for home consoles. On the body, you'll find analogue sticks, a D-pad and shoulder buttons. The back features assignable buttons for customising game functions. The layout of the controls provides easy access to all game functions while playing.
Audio interface
The Split Pad Attachment central piece includes an integrated 3.5mm jack for connecting a headset or microphone. This input transmits both game audio and voice chat directly from the connected console. This port carries game sound and is used for voice communication without the need for additional adapters. This makes it easy for players to communicate with teammates in cooperative and multiplayer titles.
Turbo function and customisation
The device includes a hardware Turbo function for rapid-fire actions. You can activate this function on selected switches depending on the specific game's needs. Additionally, the rear programmable triggers on the Split Pad Compact can be set to substitute other buttons, making complex in-game actions easier.
Console compatibility
The design of the entire gaming set precisely matches the dimensions of the Nintendo Switch gaming system. This controller is fully compatible with both the standard version of the console and the version equipped with an OLED display. It connects to both types of console instantly, with no need for any software setup or additional driver installation.
