The FANATEC Steering Wheel Formula V3 is equipped with a 2.7” white OLED display, nine RGB RevLEDs and six RGB FlagLEDs, which show telemetry data and game-supported information. It also includes a pre-installed ClubSport Magnetic Paddle Module with magnetic shifter paddles. The controls consist of 11 buttons, two 7-way FunkySwitch joysticks, two 2-way toggle switches, three 12-position rotary switches and a pair of thumb-operated rotary encoders. The steering wheel supports Intelligent Telemetry Mode and is compatible with Windows PCs and, when connected to a compatible Fanatec wheel base, with PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles.

Display, telemetry and visual information
The Fanatec Steering Wheel Formula V3 displays engine RPM and recommended shift points in supported games. The six RGB FlagLEDs show information such as flags, tyre slip or the pit lane speed limiter, depending on the specific game's support. Intelligent Telemetry Mode lets you switch between five telemetry data layouts manually or via a supported game. You can adjust the LED behaviour and display settings in the Fanatec App. The ClubSport Magnetic Paddle Module is made from CNC-machined, black anodised aluminium. The steering wheel also supports the Podium Advanced Paddle Module. The rotary switches can be configured as either multi-position or rotary encoder inputs.
Construction and compatibility
The steering wheel has a 290mm diameter and a 5mm-thick carbon composite front plate. The grips are covered with perforated leather and are replaceable. It comes with the QR2 Wheel-Side pre-installed, and the wheel also supports the QR1 Wheel-Side. It is compatible with Fanatec wheel bases CSL DD, Gran Turismo DD Pro Wheel Base, ClubSport DD, ClubSport DD+, Podium Wheel Base DD1, Podium Wheel Base DD1 PS4, Podium Wheel Base DD2 and Podium DD (2026). When connected to a compatible Fanatec wheel base, it supports Windows PC, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 platforms.
