Sophisticated optical design combines a trio of aspherical elements with one super ED element and one ED element to control both spherical and chromatic aberrations for improved sharpness, clarity and colour accuracy. It is capable of producing images of more than 100 MP throughout the zoom range, comparable to a prime lens with stunning image quality from center to edge.

Fast and silent focusing with exceptional resolution and compact design

The GF 32-64mm F4 R LM WR uses the world's most advanced autofocus system for large format mirrorless cameras. The internal focusing mechanism in conjunction with the lens' powerful linear AF motor provides fast and accurate autofocusing with near-silent operation. The lens is extremely lightweight, weighing only 875g, and perfectly combines compact size with high performance. When combined with the GFX100S, the result is a stunning resolution of up to 102 megapixels, with a total weight of less than 2kg.

Intuitive operation and excellent protection in harsh conditions

The aperture ring allows for intuitive exposure adjustment and also includes lockable A (Auto) and C (Command) positions, which allows aperture adjustment from the camera body. A fluorine coating has been added to the front member to repel moisture, grease and dirt. The tube construction is weather, dust and frost resistant thanks to ten seals. Allows use even in adverse conditions and temperatures down to -10 °C.
