The backup power supply with its Line-interactive topology effectively compensates for fluctuations in the mains supply. The integrated automatic voltage regulation system stabilises the input current and protects sensitive equipment from damage. The device switches to battery power in 6ms, reliably preventing connected computers from restarting.

The FSP UPS ST 1500 backup power supply is powered by two 12V batteries with a capacity of 9Ah. Recharging to 90% capacity takes approximately 6 to 8 hours. The device generates a simulated sine wave, and a built-in fan maintains an optimal operating temperature for all internal components. Users have a clear LCD display for an instant check of the unit's current status and charge level. Four standard Schuko sockets are available for connecting end devices. The USB communication interface is complemented by an RJ-45 port for data network protection, which prevents surge damage to network elements.
