The FSP iFP 2000 backup power features the Line interactive design approach. Off-line is seen as the most basic form when power fails, since it connects to the battery and disconnects from the mains power. The line interactive UPS enhances the simpler off-line version of data line surge suppression to guard against dangerous surges travelling along data lines.
