Rearview Mirror Mount

Rearview mirror mounting is a method of installing a camera in a car in which the device is attached directly to the vehicle's existing interior rearview mirror. Adjustable rubber straps or plastic clips are most commonly used for mounting, securely wrapping the camera around the mirror’s body. This type of installation allows for a very discreet placement, as the camera is hidden behind the mirror or is an integral part of it, thus minimally obstructing the driver’s view.
