Powered by Built-In Battery

An integrated battery is a built-in battery that serves as a short-term power source for a dashcam. Its primary purpose is not to power the camera for long recordings without being connected to the vehicle's electrical system, but to ensure the safe completion and saving of the last video recording after the engine is turned off and the main power supply is disconnected. This prevents file corruption. The battery's capacity is usually sufficient for a few minutes of operation. In some models, a supercapacitor is used instead of a battery. This is a component that performs a similar function but has different properties, such as a longer lifespan and higher resistance to temperature changes.
