Hydrogel film

A hydrogel film is a flexible protective layer made of polymer gel, applied to the screen or other parts of an action camera. Thanks to its elasticity, it conforms to curved surfaces and leaves no visible edges. Minor scratches can partially smooth out by themselves, which extends the cosmetic lifespan of the surface. It is usually applied with an installation solution that allows precise positioning and the removal of bubbles. It offers less impact protection than tempered glass, so it mainly guards against abrasion and scratching. The film is thin and preserves the sensitivity of the touchscreen. It is suitable for devices with rounded edges or an unconventional shape.
