5K Video Resolution
5K video resolution indicates that the image of the recording consists of approximately five thousand picture elements, or pixels, in width. Specifically, it most commonly refers to dimensions of 5120 × 2880 pixels. A higher number of pixels means that the recording contains more details and is overall sharper. Thanks to this level of detail, it is possible to better distinguish, for example, vehicle license plates or traffic signs in the recorded video, even when the image is subsequently zoomed in. Compared to more common standards like 4K resolution, also known as „Ultra HD“, or Full HD, 5K recording offers a noticeably more detailed image.
