Accurate and fast CO detection
Unlike conventional detectors, FireAngel's advanced electrochemical sensor is designed to accurately measure low levels of carbon monoxide (CO). A fast response to rising CO levels is provided by smart sensor technology, which, upon any detection above 180 ppm CO, enables activation of a high sensitivity mode with CO level prediction for faster alert and activates an indication to open windows, ventilate the room, minimizing the risk of CO poisoning and preventing the accumulation of dangerous levels of carbon monoxide. Thanks to the automatic diagnostic check, the sensor continuously verifies its functionality and immediately signals any malfunction. In addition, it is also able to warn when it reaches the end of its lifetime and has a memory of alarm events in the event of the user's absence.
Special design
It allows the device to be operated without the need for fixed anchoring, and thus becomes portable with the possibility of simple and stable placement on a horizontal surface (e.g. on a bedside table, shelf, etc.). Moisture-resistant design, making the device suitable for placement or installation in bathrooms with karma, gas boiler, boiler rooms, etc.
Certified FireAngel detector
The detector is certified in accordance with European standards BS EN 50291-1: 2018, EN 50291-2: 2019, and is therefore also intended for use in caravans, motorhomes and boats, e.g. on vacation. It has a certificate confirming compliance with the requirements of the Czech technical standard ČSN-EN 50291: 2001 for home carbon monoxide detectors. Compliance with this standard has been confirmed by the independent research laboratory of the British Standards Institute (BSI).
Dangerous carbon monoxide
Carbon monoxide is a colourless gas, tasteless and odourless, which is produced by the misfiring of fossil fuels, like coal, oil, natural gas, LPG, coal and wood. It can also be produced by poorly maintained or broken fuel-burning appliances used for domestic heating, such as boilers, gas appliances, feeds, grills, clogged chimneys, Ventilation systems or damaged flue pipes. Common symptoms of CO poisoning include headache, nausea, fatigue or muscle pain - but these can easily be confused with a diagnosis of flu. Therefore, it is important to protect your family and home with carbon monoxide detectors.
