Dadka Mattress protector TENCEL 60×120 cm

The Dadka Tencel mattress protector keeps your mattress safe from dirt and moisture. This waterproof mattress protector is made from Tencel (Lyocell) material, which is not only water-resistant but also breathable. Thanks to its thermoregulating and naturally antibacterial properties, it ensures a hygienic sleeping environment. It is also suitable for sensitive skin, allergy sufferers and young children, as certified by its Oeko-Tex certificate.

Tencel material for maximum comfort

The core of the protector is Tencel fabric, the trade name for the Lyocell fibre. The material has a pleasant, smooth-to-the-touch feel. It absorbs and wicks away moisture, keeping the bed dry. The protector also aids thermoregulation – it helps to cool you down in warm weather and provides warmth in colder periods. This contributes to a good night's sleep without unnecessary sweating. What's more, the natural reduction of bacterial growth ensures hygiene.

Protection and a healthy environment

The underside of the protector features a polyurethane (PU) coating that acts as a waterproof barrier. It prevents liquids, sweat and dust mites from penetrating the mattress, thus extending its life. Despite its waterproof nature, the material remains breathable, so it doesn't cause excessive sweating. The protector is suitable for people with allergies, eczema or incontinence. Its safety and health-friendliness are confirmed by the Oeko-Tex Class I certificate, which proves that the product contains no harmful substances and is safe even for the sensitive skin of children up to 3 years old.

Maintenance and fitting

Handling the protector is simple. It has elastic straps sewn on, which you just pull over the corners of the mattress. This keeps the protector firmly in place, preventing it from slipping or wrinkling under the sheet. It can be maintained at high temperatures. Washing at 95°C destroys bacteria and dust mites, which is particularly beneficial for allergy sufferers and families with children. The protector can then be tumble-dried at up to 70°C, which shortens the time needed before it can be used again.
