Enjoy fresh and less-creased laundry
The BOSCH WGG244F9BY washing machine uses a steam treatment that gives your laundry an extra steam care to smooth it out, and can even replace ironing. You can have your clothes steam-treated for a great look and reduced creasing.
Automatic i-DOS dosing system
Bosch washing machines with the i-DOS automatic dosing system automatically set the precise amount of detergent, down to the millilitre. By dosing precisely, the system helps protect your laundry from excessive detergent use and contributes to the efficient use of detergent.
Energy-efficient and quiet motor
The efficient and quiet brushless motor, thanks to its design, reduces noise, vibration and heat during operation. By limiting friction, it also contributes to the long-term high performance of the appliance.
Perfect washing results in less time
The BOSCH WGG244F9BY washing machine has a SpeedPerfect function, a special feature designed for situations when time is of the essence. It allows you to significantly shorten the washing time without compromising the quality of the wash.
This function can be used in combination with most programmes, all load sizes and fabric types. For example, by selecting the Mix programme in combination with the additional SpeedPerfect function, you can wash up to 4 kilograms of a mixed load in just 46 minutes.
The best energy class A
Thanks to their energy management system, Bosch washing machines achieve the highest energy class A and ensure efficient washing of laundry.
The BOSCH WGG244F9BY allows you to add laundry even during a cycle
When did you last fill the washing machine, start a cycle, and then realise you had forgotten a child's sock or a T-shirt? The Reload function, which the BOSCH WGG244F9BY washing machine features, allows you to easily add forgotten clothes or remove laundry even during a wash cycle.* Simply pause the running programme and open the door to easily pop the forgotten items into the drum, and then continue washing.
(*Adding is not possible if the suds temperature is higher than 50°C or the water level in the drum is too high.)
Unique gentle drum
The unique patented VarioDrum system gently and effectively washes all types of clothes by distributing water evenly without stretching, creasing or damaging your favourite garments. The droplet-shaped perforations in the drum and the asymmetrical paddles of the BOSCH WGG244F9BY washing machine gently turn your laundry towards the centre, regardless of the direction of rotation. This ensures not only an intensive wash for heavily soiled laundry, but also a faster and more thorough wash cycle.
The BOSCH WGG244F9BY washing machine will save you water and money
Our Active Water Plus technology delivers perfect results while using only the necessary amount of water for each wash. Thanks to the highly efficient water management technology, the exact amount of laundry is automatically detected and the water consumption is adjusted accordingly. Save up to 50% of water when washing smaller loads.

Hygiene Plus programme
You will also be pleased with the programme for hygienic washing, which effectively destroys 99.99% of germs even at a temperature of 40°C.
AntiVibration side panel
The innovative design of the side panels is not only visually appealing, but more importantly provides high stability, reduces vibrations and significantly minimises noise levels. This makes Bosch washing machines very quiet, even during the spin cycle.

The system automatically adjusts the temperature, drum movement and rinsing time to easily and completely automatically remove up to four of the most stubborn types of stains - from butter or oil, grass, red wine or blood.
Delay start function
Choose a time within a 24-hour window for the wash to be finished.
