The MS49DAB mini system features an integrated Bluetooth module that allows connection to smartphones, tablets, and other compatible devices. Music files can be played wirelessly directly through the system's speakers. Connected devices can also stream content from streaming services or play internet radio without the need for cables. At the back of the device, there is an HDMI ARC port, which provides two-way signal transmission to a TV, soundbar, and other devices. You can also use the function to automatically turn on the mini system along with your TV.
CD player, USB port and optical input for digital audio
The BLAUPUNKT MS49DAB compact audio system is also equipped with an optical input, located next to the HDMI ARC port. This connector lets you connect digital audio sources, such as a games console, a digital TV receiver, or a streaming device. The enhanced CD drive ensures more accurate and reliable playback of classic audio CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs with MP3 or WMA files. There is also a USB port for playing content from flash drives (up to 32GB), which also supports MP3 and WMA files.
Versatile audio system with an integrated FM/DAB+ tuner
The AUX input, in the form of a standard 3.5mm jack, is used to connect the MS49DAB micro system to an older generation smartphone or another analogue audio source. The BLAUPUNKT MS49DAB is also equipped with a built-in FM tuner with 40 preset stations and an RDS function that displays additional information about the tuned stations on the screen. There's also a DAB+ tuner, which allows you to receive digital radio broadcasts with clearer sound and a wider range of stations (including exclusive digital ones). Signal reception is improved by the included DAB/FM aerial, which plugs into the 75-ohm connector on the back of the device.
The MS49DAB features an enhanced equaliser
The MS49DAB mini system is equipped with an amplifier with an RMS power of 2× 50W, which, together with the two speakers housed in wooden bass-reflex cabinets, provides dynamic and full sound when watching films, playing games, or listening to music.
