MAISON FRANCIS KURKDJIAN Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum fragrance composition

Inspired by Baccarat Rouge 540 ruby crystal

This Eau de Parfum was created to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the French glassmaker Baccarat. Francis Kurkdjian was inspired by the production of ruby crystal, where gold is added to molten glass. Heating it to 540°C then gives the material a deep red colour, which is referenced in the name of the fragrance. The composition opens with a combination of jasmine and precious saffron. At its heart, warm ambergris develops, complemented by cedarwood and fir resin in the base.
