Choosing a power supply
When choosing a suitable PC power supply, the key parameter besides the form factor is its power output. This indicates the maximum number of watts the power supply can continuously deliver to the computer's components. Stability
The fully digital control continuously monitors and adjusts the voltage outputs for stable operation. In combination with the Active Rectifier and full bridge LLC topology, it enables more precise voltage regulation and low ripple. This solution ensures a stable power supply even for overclocked processors and power-sensitive graphics cards. A hold-up time of over 18ms at full load helps to bridge short-term power outages.
ATX 3.1
The power supply complies with the ATX 3.1 specification and is compatible with PCIe 5.1 graphics cards. Two native 16-pin 12VHPWR connectors power modern-generation graphics cards, including managing short-term power spikes. There are also six classic 8-pin connectors available for older components or multi-GPU setups. This solution ensures wide compatibility with different types of hardware.
Quiet operation
A modified fan system takes care of cooling. The 135mm Silent Wings fan used is frameless and mounted on a tripod, which promotes airflow. With a fluid-dynamic bearing and a 6-pole motor, it operates at a very low noise level under normal load, approximately 9.8dB(A) at 50% load. The fine mesh and funnel-shaped air intake help improve cooling even at speeds of up to 2600rpm.
Flexibility
The power supply is equipped with an Overclocking Key function that lets you switch the power mode. In the default setting, it operates with six separate 12V rails to distribute the current. After activating the switch, which can be placed in a free PCI slot, the rails are combined into one. In this mode, the full 1600W of power is available on a single line, which can be useful for overclocking or in systems with multiple graphics cards.
Aluminium construction
The body of the power supply is made of brushed aluminium, which helps with heat dissipation and increases mechanical durability. The fine-mesh inlet grille covers a large part of the surface and allows for smooth air intake to cool the internal components. The construction is designed for long-term operation. With a depth of 200mm, the power supply requires sufficient space in the case for installation and cable management.
Modular cabling and protection circuits
The fully modular design lets you connect only the cables needed for your specific components. This reduces the amount of cabling inside the case and promotes freer airflow, which can help maintain lower operating temperatures. The power supply includes a suite of safety features for a stable power delivery. It includes protection against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, overload, short circuit, overheating and inrush current. These circuits help protect the connected components during abnormal conditions, such as power grid fluctuations or an internal fault. The overcurrent protection works independently for each 12V rail.

80 Plus certification was created to objectively evaluate the efficiency of computer power supplies. This gives users a simple and clear way to compare different models.
