Typical applications

Würth PUR-polyurethane adhesive is used for typical applications such as: gluing windows and doors; boat building, internal and external construction, gluing of ladders and garden furniture (wood), bonding of sandwich panels made of polyurethane or polyester, hard foam with plywood or hard plastic boards (Duropal, etc. ), bonding of door frames and cassettes, stairs and railings, handles, gluing frames, balcony railings, garden furniture and fences, mounting connections, surface joints, plate joints and block bonding, joining MDF boards, stationary edge finish with veneer and solid wood strips, soft, hardwoods and exotic woods and particleboards, bonding of mineral building panels, ceramic materials, concrete materials and hard foams.

Use:
Apply PUR adhesive directly from the bottle or with a squeegee on one side on dust and grease free surfaces and on two sides for porous materials. One of the two materials must be absorbent. Remove any new adhesive splashes using a PU cleaner. Old adhesive residues can only be removed mechanically.

A preliminary test should be carried out to verify the required adhesion for a given design and wood type. In the case of ash wood, it is recommended to treat the substrate with Adhesion Plus for plastics/stone/wood. The oily type of wood must be glued immediately after processing to minimize the risk of a separation layer.
