PATTEX Chemoprene Universal 800 ml

PATTEX Chemoprene Universal is a universal contact adhesive. It allows you to glue almost any material even in difficult conditions. It does not contain harmful cyclohexane and toluene. Ensures high strength and versatility of use. Suitable for universal contact bonding of various absorbent and non-absorbent materials such as wood, plastics, rubber, skin, sheet metal, glass, Cork, cardboard and many others. Porous or excessively absorbent materials (beaver, wood) should be coated at least once with Chemoprene Universal diluted with Chemoprene thinner in a 2:1 ratio before bonding.

Use:
The material to be glued must be clean, dry and free of dust and grease. When bonding smooth materials such as metal or plastic, the strength of the joint can be increased by additional surface roughening. Mix the adhesive thoroughly before use. Apply in a thin layer with a toothpick, brush or roller on both surfaces. Allow the adhesive layer to air out for approximately 10 to 15 minutes, then attach the glued parts together and press firmly. The strength of the joint depends on the compression force, not on the length of the compression. The final strength is reached after 24 hours. Remove any adhesive residue immediately with a damp cloth. After curing, the material can only be removed mechanically.
