The Makita HP2071J electric impact drill is designed for drilling in wood, metal or plastic. The impact function also allows efficient drilling in brick, stone and other hard materials. The drill is powered by a powerful 1010W motor with a two-speed gearbox that can handle up to 2,900 rpm. In addition, the gearbox and engine are fitted with a robust aluminium housing to increase their durability. The drilling power is controlled by a large electronic switch with the possibility of switching between left and right operation, which can be simply locked in the on position. The HP2071J drill has double insulation and is equipped with an indicator light to signal imminent motor overload, cable faults or switch problems. The ergonomically shaped rubberised handle (rear) together with the additional side handle, which is equipped with a depth stop hole, allow a comfortable grip and safe guidance of the tool. Includes plastic Makpac case, depth gauge, wrench, side handle and speed wrench (1.5 - 13 mm).

Thanks to the tapping function, you can use the Makita HP2071J to efficiently drill into hard materials such as stone, masonry or concrete. The tapping intensity can be set up to 24,000 beats per minute in first gear or up to 58,000 beats in second gear. Safe guidance of the drill is made possible by the soft-grip side handle, which is also equipped with a practical hole for inserting a depth gauge, allowing you to conveniently create holes with the same depth.
