The HECHT 6020 Cordless Hedge Trimmer is a great tool for hedge and ornamental tree maintenance. Thanks to the battery power supply, the operator is not constrained by cables as with electric machines, and it is relatively quiet and emission-free compared to using an internal combustion engine. The weight of the hedge trimmer without battery is 2 kg, the total length of the bar is 61 cm, the working part of the bar is 45 cm. The maximum diameter of the cut branches is 15 mm. With a 20V li-ion battery with a capacity of 2 Ah, the maximum operating time of the machine is 50 minutes.

Benefits of the ACCU 6020 program

There are many advantages to battery-powered machines. The electric motor is silent and produces no odorous or toxic fumes. Compared to an internal combustion engine, you don't have to start the engine, perform regular maintenance, change oil and air filters. An electric motor is more reliable than a rather complicated internal combustion engine. However, the main disadvantage of a conventional electric machine is the need for a power cord. The cable restricts movement, and a little inattention can result in damage and possible electric shock.
All these disadvantages are solved by powering the machine from a lightweight lithium battery.
Modern lithium batteries are lightweight, store a large amount of energy and, with proper care, have a relatively long service life. The disadvantage is their higher price.
The ACCU program eliminates this disadvantage by allowing a number of different products to be powered by a single battery. You get a chainsaw, for example, hedge trimmer, lawn trimmer, pressure washer, a winding saw and other machines, for which you would normally need several and quite expensive different batteries. But thanks to the ACCU programme, you only need one battery. Only for the operation of the HECHT 5025 you need a pair of 2.5 Ah batteries. However, these batteries are also backwards compatible with the entire ACCU 6020 range and can be used, for example, so that while you are working with one battery, you can charge the other.
