This modern USB-C to HDMI active cable adapter, AXAGON RVC-HI2MC, lets you connect an HDMI monitor, TV, or projector to a laptop or phone using a USB-C connector.
The hardware converter provides high-quality images up to 4K/60Hz Ultra HD resolution without needing any installation. It also supports popular gaming resolutions like WQHD 2560x1440 at 60, 120, and 144Hz, or Full HD 1920x1080 at 60, 100, 120, 144, and 240Hz. HDR support (High Dynamic Range) allows you to enjoy a significantly expanded range of colour and contrast.
The durable cable features sturdy metal ends, nickel-plated connectors, and gold-plated contacts. A nylon braid gives the cable its final strength. A practical strap for easy cable management is an added bonus. Transferring video and audio from your computer, laptop, phone, or Apple MacBook is now a breeze.
Its compact size makes it easy to use even in tight spaces. The converter's dimensions are almost identical to those of a standard cable's connectors. This is an ideal solution – you don't need a separate HDMI cable and an adapter, as everything is integrated into a single unit with this active cable.
The cable is one-way only, converting from USB-C to HDMI, not the other way around. A USB-C port with DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) support or a device with a Thunderbolt 3/4 port is required for the converter to function correctly.
