AXAGON HMC-5H8K 5-in-1 Hub, USB-C 5Gbps, 2x USB-A, HDMI 8k/30Hz, PD 100W, USB-C cable 15 cm

AXAGON HMC-5H8K 5-in-1 Hub, USB-C 5Gbps, 2x USB-A, HDMI 8k/30Hz, PD 100W, USB-C cable 15 cm
The multiport USB-C 5Gbps hub AXAGON HMC-5H8K will expand your laptop, computer or phone with five ports. You can easily and quickly connect a monitor and three USB devices to your computer at the same time via the reversible USB-C connector. You also get the ability to power your laptop using Power Delivery technology. The USB hub offers three 5Gbps USB outputs. Two with a standard USB-A and another with a USB-C data connector. The hub can handle the permanent connection of several external drives at the same time. Thanks to the fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, the hub's transfer speed is up to 5Gb/s. It also allows you to charge phones and tablets with a current of up to 1.5A/5V, so you can easily charge an Android smartphone, Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, etc. from the hub. The second of the USB-C connectors is reserved only for powering and simultaneously charging phones or laptops using Power Delivery 3.0 technology with a power of up to 100W. You plug a USB-C Power Delivery charger into the hub and connect the hub to the laptop, thus also freeing up one USB-C port. The condition is a laptop with support for charging from the USB-C port using Power Delivery and a suitable PD charger. A higher surface temperature of the hub is not a defect—the heat generated by the operation of the hub is better dissipated and transferred to the surroundings.

Thanks to HDR (High Dynamic Range) support, you can enjoy a significantly extended range of colours and contrasts without any limitations. For the video output to work correctly, the laptop's USB-C port must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) or Thunderbolt 3/4.

Plug and Play and Hot Plug
The elegant aluminium body ensures not only mechanical durability but also passive cooling. Thanks to the Plug and Play and Hot Plug functions, connecting the hub itself is very simple without complicated installation, and you can also easily connect and disconnect peripherals while the computer is running.
