The AXAGON HMC-5 multiport USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 hub expands your laptop, computer or phone with four ports and an SD/microSD memory card reader. The reversible USB-C connector allows you to easily and quickly connect two USB devices, a card reader and an HDMI display to your computer at the same time. You also gain the ability to power your laptop using Power Delivery technology. The USB-C hub provides you with a simple and compact 5-in-1 docking station for a laptop such as a MacBook Pro.

More Ports—More Efficient Work
The AXAGON USB hub offers two USB outputs with standard USB-A connectors. The hub can also handle the permanent connection of several external drives at the same time. Thanks to the fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, the hub's transfer speed is up to 5Gbps. The hub also allows you to charge phones and tablets with a current of up to 1.5A/5V, so you can easily charge an Android smartphone, Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, etc. from the hub. The USB-C connector is reserved only for powering and simultaneously charging phones or laptops using Power Delivery 3.0 technology with a power of up to 100W. You plug a USB-C Power Delivery charger into the hub and connect the hub to the laptop. This also frees up one USB-C port. The prerequisite is a laptop with support for charging from a USB-C port via Power Delivery and a suitable PD charger.

The HDMI output of the AXAGON docking station provides a high-quality image up to 4K/30Hz Ultra HD resolution and supports multi-channel audio transmission. Gaming resolutions of WQHD 2560×1440 at 60Hz or FullHD 1920×1080 at 60, 100 and 120Hz max are also supported. For the video output to work correctly, the laptop's USB-C port must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) or Thunderbolt 3.
Copying Between Cards
The card reader of the AXAGON HMC-5, 5-in-1 Hub supports all versions of SD and microSD cards, including SDXC and microSDXC, with a capacity of up to 2TB. High transfer speeds are ensured by the USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface. The card reader allows simultaneous work with cards in both slots and direct copying between them.

The elegant aluminium body of the AXAGON docking station ensures not only mechanical resistance but also high-quality cooling. It has a finely textured surface that does not leave fingerprints. The port replicator is ideal for laptops without USB-A connectors, card readers and video output. With the hub, you can use existing USB peripherals without having to buy new ones. Thanks to the Plug and Play and Hot Plug functions, connecting the hub is very simple without complicated installation, and you can also easily connect and disconnect peripherals while the computer is running. The hub is not even afraid of connecting to phones with a USB-C connector. You can connect a flash drive, keyboard, mouse, monitor, TV or projector to your phone.
Supported Operating Systems
The AXAGON HMC-5 docking station supports Microsoft Windows 10, 11, Mac OS, Linux, Android and Chrome OS. Compatibility depends on the operating system used and support from the device manufacturer. The drivers are part of the supported operating systems and install completely automatically. No other drivers need to be installed. DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) is only supported in updated operating systems and also depends on support from the device (laptop, phone).
