VIAIR 480C Chrom - air compressor, max. pressure 13,79 bar (200 PSI) / 52,7 litres/min

VIAIR compressors with model designation "C" are designed for filling pressure vessels. They are not equipped with an on/off switch or other proprietary pressure switch. The use of a pressure switch and electrical relay is recommended and required. All "C" compressors (except 90 and 100 series) are equipped with an armored hose and control valve to prevent spikes in current that could damage the compressor. Most VIAIR compressors are equipped with a thermal fuse that temporarily disables the compressor if overheating occurs. After cooling down, the compressor will restart itself. The VIAIR 480C is the top model in the VIAIR range with a maximum filling pressure of 200 PSI (13.79 bar), horizontal cooling fins and an expanding compressor head shape. The compressor is supplied with a 3/8" NPT threaded armored supply hose and a 3/8" NPT check valve.

Warning:
Always operate the compressor at pressures less than or equal to the maximum operating pressure of the compressor. If the maximum working pressure or duty cycle is exceeded, the compressor may be damaged. Use a suitable thread sealant for proper installation. Teflon tape is not recommended. The recommended tightening torque is 16 to 20 Nm.
